McCrometer”s V2 System flowmeter can be installed in close proximity to pumps in crowdedplant retrofit projects, as it reduces by 70 percent the amount of straight-piperuns required by other flowmeters. The flowmeter needs only zero to three straight-pipe diametersupstream and zero to one diameters downstream to operate effectively. The flowmeter operates over a flow range of 10-to-1, with low headloss and support for line sizes from four to greater than 18 inches.Accuracy is +/-1 percent over a 40 to 7,500 gallon per minute liquid flowrate,depending on the line size.
