Charter International plc has been acquired by Colfax Corporation, effective Jan. 13. Colfax Corporation is a diversified manufacturing and engineering company that provides gas and fluid handling and fabrication technology products and services to commercial and governmental customers around the world. Charter’s businesses are focused on welding, cutting and automation (ESAB), as well as air and gas handling (Howden).
