Val-Matic Designs Trunnion Ball Valve for Oil & Gas Applications

Val-Matic’s QuadroSphere Trunnion Ball Valve is designed to handle demands of the Oil & Gas industry in areas such as tank farms; meter stations; pumps isolation; offshore platforms; fracking water treatment systems; heat exchanger water; compressor stations; and pig launchers and receivers, among others. The multiple flow paths through the valve and the contoured recessed surfaces of the ball provide self-flushing to prevent clogging by avoiding high scale and solids build up. This function is suited for where there is a tendency for clogging and particles solidifying causing the valves to fail. The Trunnion Mounted Ball Valve has lipped edges that clean the seat surface, further making it suitable for various applications specific to the Oil & Gas industry. The ball valve comes standard as fire-safe against flammable materials typical of the industry.
