Product Focus: Flow Measurement/Flowmeters
1 | Coriolis flowmeter
Emerson’s Micro Motion Coriolis HPC015 Flow Meter is designed for high-pressure hydrogen dispensing and chemical injection applications. The HPC015 is capable of a flow accuracy margin of 0.5% for gas and 0.1% for liquid mass flow measurement. The meter performs under wide pressure and temperature fluctuations, while onboard diagnostic tools eliminate the need for pre-inspections or interim maintenance checks, saving time and money. The HPC015 is designed to accurately and reliably dose chemicals at pressures up to 1,060 bar (15,374 psi).
2 | flow switch/monitor
The FS10i Flow Switch/Monitor from Fluid Components International (FCI) delivers two functions in a single instrument. It is useful in gas flow safety-related applications because it is designed to provide a dependable high- or low-trip point alarm. It includes an analog 4-20 mA output signal. Configured in the field, the insertion-style Flow Switch/Monitor operates over a wide flow range in air/gas from 0.25 FPS to 400 SFPS and in water from 0.01 FPS to 0.5 FPS. Repeatability is ±0.5% of reading.
3 | insertion-type flowmeter
KROHNE’s OPTIPROBE electromagnetic insertion-type flowmeter provides flow monitoring of conductive clean liquids in water/wastewater applications. It is available with an adjustable insertion length of up to 16 inches that can be fixed and released by an integrated ball valve. This feature makes it ideal for retrofitting pipes without process interruption. It includes all wetted parts made of noncorrosive materials and is available as a compact version or a remote version with a field- or wall-mounted signal converter.
4 | clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter
AW-Lake’s Clamp-On Ultrasonic Flow Meter fastens on the outside of vertical or horizontal pipes ranging in size from 1/2 inch through 48 inches. Housed in a water- and dust-tight NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure, the flow meter is compatible with a range of metal and plastic pipe materials and difficult liquids such as chemicals, viscous liquids and abrasives. The nonintrusive clamp-on ultrasonic sensors feature enhanced flow measurement with no pressure drop. It offers an isolated 4-20 mA output that can transmit flow readings to remote displays, recorders or controllers.
