For the third year in a row, Graco Inc., a worldwide manufacturer of fluid handling equipment, has been named one of the Top Workplaces in Minnesota by the Star Tribune, ranking 10th in the publicly held companies category.
In addition, Graco has been recognized as a National Top Workplace by Workplace Dynamics, which administers both local (including the Star Tribune) and national Top Workplaces programs. The organization surveyed more than 4,000 companies throughout the 30 Top Workplace programs and named 319 companies with more than 1,000 employees top workplaces nationally.
The Star Tribune “Top Workplaces” special section was published Sunday, June 17 and can be found at www.StarTribune.com/topworkplaces2012. The section recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on an employee survey about company leadership, communication, career opportunities, workplace environment, managerial skills, pay and benefits. The analysis included responses from over 71,200 employees at Minnesota public, private and nonprofit organizations.
To qualify for the “Top Workplaces” competition, a company must have more than 50 employees in Minnesota. Minneapolis-based Graco serves customers around the world in the manufacturing, processing, construction, and maintenance industries.
