By 2015, semiconductor manufacturing will be concentrated in Asia, with 74 percent of the production and 70 percent of the revenues generated in this region, according to a report by The McIlvaine Company. As such, the report predicts 78 percent of the world”s semiconductor equipment purchases will be for Asian chip fabrication facilities.
Based on these forecasted trends, the McIlvaine Company has made nearly 20,000 forecasts for the revenues of environmental and flow control equipment, repair parts, and consumables.
