VorTek Instruments introduces portable flowmeter rental program
Longmont, CO (July 20, 2022; VorTek release) — VorTek Instruments has officially launched its Portable Flowmeter Rental Program. Portable flowmeters are often needed temporarily for spot-checking during flow rate surveys, verifying the accuracy of another flowmeter, or even used as a temporary placeholder for fixed mount flowmeters sent out for service or calibration.
The rental program offers customers flexible rental periods and cost savings to meet these temporary flow metering needs.
SonoPro Portable Professional Series Ultrasonic Flowmeters (Model S34) offer high-accuracy transit-time ultrasonic technology to deliver accurate and reliable flow metering. The innovative design incorporates matched precision transducers and signal processing circuitry to accurately measure the flow of most liquids over a wide range of velocities. Clamp-on transducers create no wear, zero pressure loss and do not require process interruptions to install them since they are attached to the outside of the pipe.
SonoConfig Instrument Interface Software works in conjunction with SonoPro Portable Professional Series Flowmeters to provide valuable setup, diagnostic, and data logging tools. Portable flowmeter rental units include:
- SonoPro Portable Professional Series Ultrasonic Flowmeter (Model S34).
- Tablet loaded with SonoConfig Instrument Interface Software.
- Two clamp-on temperature sensors for mass or thermal energy (BTU) metering.
- Three sets of transducers for use with pipe sizes 1/2” to 200”.
- Transducer mounting rack for easy installation.
- MT160 thickness gauge to help with determining pipe wall thickness.
