SignalFire expands into Mexico with its wireless telemetry solutions for sensing and monitoring
MARLBOROUGH, MA — August 10, 2022 (SignalFire release) — SignalFire Wireless Telemetry received the approval from Mexico’s Federal Telecommunication Institute (Instituto Federal De Telecomunicaciones) for the use in the country of its 900 MHz wireless products.
SignalFire's radio transmitters easily adapt to a variety of sensor to make measurement clusters across vast geographic distances. The platform is easy-to-use, flexible and robust, made for challenging outdoor environments such as oil and gas refineries, agricultural farms, water and wastewater systems, and public infrastructures. At the heart of each remote sensing system is a gateway with wireless nodes integrated with sensors to gather field information and bring data to a monitoring system. SignalFire’s wireless platform operates on a 900Mhz Radio Frequency or Cellular & Cloud with LTE-M.
“The approval to use Mexico’s 900 MHz radio frequency band with our products supports our mission to grow in Latin America by offering cost effective monitoring solutions for water infrastructure and oil & gas assets,” says Sandro Esposito, VP of sales & marketing of SignalFire. ”SignalFire telemetry helps users to digitally transform their operations using existing or new sensors without running wires, cables or conduit.”
SignalFire offers various 900MHz radio frequency products including solar-powered solutions to create a versatile wireless telemetry solution. The SignalFire remote sensing system has an open architecture that allows users to integrate many types of sensors to monitor assets such as tanks, wells, pipelines, pumps, valves and more.
