Instrumentation and Controls opens new instrument training unit in Arizona
May 2, 2024 (Endress+Hauser release) — Endress+Hauser sales and service representative partner Instrumentation and Controls (IAC) has opened a new in-house training center in its Arizona facility. The training center, opened in the organization’s 25th year, aims to provide customers and employees with hands-on learning experiences to foster growth and development across industries.
The new Instrument Training Unit (ITU) will feature instruments represented by IAC, including Endress+Hauser instrumentation. In addition to hands-on learning opportunities, the training center, IAC Tech, will offer seminars and workshops to give industry professionals the necessary skills to succeed in every field.
Ritch Shank, founder of IAC, is excited for the future of the company and the ways IAC will continue to partner with Endress+Hauser to bring new and engaging experiences to employees and customers.
"I am very grateful to our customers, employees and excellent manufacturing partners for helping IAC achieve so much success. I look forward to continuing to bring the best products, services, solutions and training to our customers to help them accomplish their goals,” said Shank.
Endress+Hauser offers a number of PTUs (Process Training Unit) across the country to provide learning opportunities to fit specific training needs. Like the ITU concept, PTUs are larger, full-scale process skids that feature a large variety of instrumentation. Collaborating with IAC, and other sales and service representatives throughout the United States, allows for continuous growth and improvement all taught by trained experts in process automation.
“The opportunity to work with IAC on their new ITU is essential for their growth and ours,” said Lynsey Stanford, Endress+Hauser Talent Development Manager. “We are looking forward to seeing how this training unit will impact customers and employees in the southwest region and beyond.”
