As part of the agreement, SciQuest will offer Actio’s Chemical Profile Database (CPD) and MSDS Vault as an enhancement to its Chemical Manager product. Actio will resell SciQuest’s supply chain solutions including Chemical Manager to supplement its suite of chemical lifecycle management products.
SciQuest Chemical Manager is an on-demand materials management solution that helps organizations centrally manage chemicals and hazardous substances and track them from purchase through disposal. According to SciQuest, with Chemical Manager and the Actio solutions, users can:

Actio’s CPD is a collection of chemical data from multiple, referenceable sources, providing users the ability to properly and accurately interpret multiple physical properties of a substance and identify those materials with regulatory and classification descriptions such as hazardous, carcinogenic, or a hazardous air pollutant (HAP).
