Andrew Matsuyama has been named chief financial officer. He brings nearly 15 years of experience as CFO of Norican Group and its predecessor, Wheelabrator Group, a private equity-owned engineered equipment manufacturer. Matsuyama will work out of Sundyne’s Arvada, Colorado, headquarters.

Sundyne has also appointed Neil Langdown as commercial excellence leader and vice president of Asia. In these new roles, Langdown will drive commercial innovation and enhance global best practices. Langdown has worked at Sundyne since 2018, where he has focused on oil and gas and petrochemical markets. Langdown will focus on creating value by leveraging IOT condition-based monitoring to develop new business models and service offerings. Prior to Sundyne, Langdown held leadership positions in related industries: managing director for Bedford Pumps for the water industry and sales and marketing director at Siemens for power generation. Langdown will continue to be based in the U.K.

Sundyne also appointed Colin Guppy as chief commercial officer. In this newly created role, Guppy will lead the original equipment and aftermarket strategies for Sundyne’s vertical markets in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India. With more than 25 years of industry expertise and a successful career with Sundyne that dates back to 2000, Guppy will work with Sundyne customers and channel partners to continue developing the right mix of products and aftermarket services that customers in the oil and gas, chemical and industrial markets need to meet their evolving business needs. Guppy will continue to work from Sundyne’s Eastbourne office in the U.K.
